The Dunmore High School Crimson Company is back for the 2023-2024 high school theater season. The Crimson Company’s fall production, “The Bugs,” a play by Don Zolidis, will keep you laughing but also questioning your own place in our delicate world.
This ensemble production has rich characters and a relevant plot. The play follows three honeybees, two overworked and one overzealous, who discover all the work they do is for everyone but themselves. They band together with their new, unlikely colony, a cast of colorful, hilarious bugs from the yard, to destroy the human’s plans and keep their habitat intact. Will they succeed? “The Bugs” runs Thursday, Nov. 16–Saturday, Nov. 18 with 7 p.m. curtain for each performance. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students, senior citizens, and children under 5.
